Listen Without Limits
– BBC Sounds Launch Campaign
Sounds was the BBC's biggest product launch since iPlayer (a long time ago!). With over 80,000 hours of music, radio and podcasts in one app, we needed a big campaign to let the people of Britain know all about it. We wrote Listen Without Limits as the platform to tell the story of Sounds and what it had to offer.
Film
We follow a listener as she broadens her audio horizons with the app.
Social
We turned key moments from the film into gifs, gathering ~500,000 views each. ‘Plastics’ racked up over 1 million views – Via Giphy








OOH
The bold design treatment (by Mother) continued to show what BBC Sounds is capable of.




Interactive OOH
People could even tap their smartphone on some posters to listen directly to new content.

Activation
On launch day, the London Eye was turned orange. An animated film was projection mapped onto the neighbouring County Hall building to announce the new app. 4 pods of the London Eye hosted radio live shows.
